SkippyEd is the brand name of SKIPPY ED SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS – FZCO, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under Freezone License #57870, issued by Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (IFZA).
1. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for users aged 14 years or older. If you are under 18 years old, you must use the Platform with the consent of a parent, guardian, or school. For users under 18, the parent, guardian, or school is responsible for providing informed consent and supervision. We rely on the school to confirm parental approval if they facilitate the registration.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you may need to register an account. You agree to: · Provide accurate and complete information · Keep your login credentials confidential · Be responsible for all activities under your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Use of the Platform
You may use the Platform only for lawful and educational purposes. You agree not to: · Misrepresent your identity or provide false information · Upload or distribute harmful content · Attempt to access restricted areas or data · Use the platform for commercial resale or unauthorized data collection
4. Our Services
The SkippyEd Platform provides access to a digital career guidance tool for high school students, including the TalentTrek questionnaire and personalized career recommendations for students and parents. Access to the full service is available upon purchase and is valid for 6 months from date of purchase. Access is non-transferable and expires automatically after 6 months unless otherwise renewed.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, tools, and materials on the Platform — including but not limited to text, assessments, graphics, logos, videos, and software — are the intellectual property of SKIPPY ED SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS – FZCO or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
6. Platform Availability
We aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee availability at all times. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice.
7. Payments
Before purchasing, users must agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Agreement is obtained through a visible notice and action (e.g., clicking “Pay Now”) that confirms acceptance.
8. Refund Policy
All purchases are final and non-refundable. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a digital service that begins immediately upon payment, and you waive any right to withdraw under applicable consumer protection laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKIPPY ED SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS – FZCO shall not be liable for: · Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages · Losses arising from reliance on Platform content or service interruptions The Platform provides educational guidance only and does not guarantee admission, employment, or income.
10. Data Protection
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data by contacting info@skippyed.com.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may discontinue use at any time by deleting your account or ceasing access.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
